Operation Precautions

Place delicate items into a nylon net before
drying. It is not recommended to dry
underwire bras in this unit.
Keep foreign objects out of the dyer. All
pockets should be emptied, and buttons,
buckles and zips fastened. This also helps
reduce impact noise when items hit the
turning drum.
Do not add items to the dryer while in
operation.
If you are drying blankets or other large items,
it is recommended to occasionally open the
dryer door, shake the item, place the item back
in and close the door. This will ensure even
drying.

lighters and matches

you are going to place in the dryer, stop, do
not, as the dryer may damage the item.

To get the most out of the anti-winkle
function, do not overload the dryer and
remove dried items from the dryer
immediately, hanging them on coat hangers.
Iron the items if desired.
To minimise the risk of fire, follow these
instructions:
• Do not place items spotted or soaked with
vegetable or cooking oil in a tumble dryer,
as they constitute a fire hazard.
• Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously,
especially when exposed to heat sources
like a tumble dryer. The heat generated by
the oxidation reaction in the oil can cause
items to catch fire if it cannot escape.
• Avoid piling, stacking or storing oil-affected
items, as this can trap heat and create a fire
hazard.
Ensure the fan is switched off from the
supply mains before removing the guard.
