OPERATION
First check to see if the cassette tape
marked METAL-CrOæ
Fear so the piayer can be set properly
Then the steps below:
Power on by turning the VOLUME On/Off control clockwise.
Insert the tape into the loading slot as far as It will go with the
exposed portion of the tape facing right. The tape is engaged
and wiil begin playing

If the tape is a Metal-Cr02-FeCr type cassette, depress the
METAL
switch.
3. Adjust the VOLUME, TREBLE. BASS, and BALANCE controis
to suit your listening preference.

end ot the tape is reached,
press the PROG switch once.
To stop tape play. press the EJECT button.

Winding the Tape Rapidly in Forward or Reverse Direction

Traffic Information
Receiving
This model is equipped with traffic informationreceiving appar-
atus to be used in West Germany where the traffic information is
broadcast in FM The following is how to use this unit to receive
traffic information broadcasting
1. Select FM position.
2. Depress the SDK switch and tune to a station. If the station is
a traffic information
station, the SK indicator will glow and
show the reception of a broadcast
from a traffic information
station.

indicator illuminate. Since the alarm
continue if no signals
from any other traffic stations can be received, release SDK
switch for the reception of normal broadcasting.

When the unit is playing a cassette tape with the SDK switch
pushed tn and tuned to a traffic information station, the tape
play is interrupted
and changed
to FM radio if the pre-tuned
station
begins
a traffic

message.
