• Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.
Do not operate a device if it is not in working order. In such cases, it
must be secured against unintentional further use.
• Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect con-
dition.
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sun-
light, microwaves, vibrations and mechanical pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and
other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact
your dealer or producer.
Not meant for children. The product is not a toy!
• Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against acciden-
tal use.
• Do not leave the device unattended.
Notes on disconnecting from the mains
• Disconnect the device from the mains when not in use.
• In an emergency, after use and during thunderstorms, pull the
mains plug out of the socket directly at the plug housing.
• Switch off the device after each use.
Protective clothing
• Wear safety goggles, ear protection and protective gloves du-
ring use.
• Do not point the device at people or animals.
• Do not use the device as a hair dryer.
Explosion and burn hazards
• Keep the device away from sources of ignition.
• Do not operate the device in the vicinity of explosive and/or flam-
mable gases.
• Avoid proximity to flammable surfaces and substances and ex-
plosive materials.
• Ensure adequate ventilation of your workplace.
• Never touch the nozzle during or immediately after use.
• Do not cover the device during use.
• Do not insert foreign objects into the nozzle.
• Switch off the device, allow the nozzle to cool down and discon-
nect the device from the mains before attaching or removing any
attachments.
2 Description and function
2.1 Product
The product is a hot air gun for DIY work. Without attachments, it is
suitable for drying, smoothing or repairing damp walls or plastic sur-
faces, for example. The four attachments supplied are suitable for the
following applications: e.g. 1x flat nozzle for removing stickers or dry
paint, 1x shovel-shaped reflector nozzle for soft soldering, 2x narrow
reduction nozzles for desoldering or edge gluing. The hot air guns
have two power settings:
77821: I (low) up to 200 °C | II (high) up to 500 °C
77822: I (low) 50 - 350 °C | II (high) 200 - 500 °C
77823: I (low) 100 - 300 °C | II (high) 300 - 650 °C

3 Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use and its inten-
ded purpose. This product is not intended for commercial use. We
do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chap-
ter „Description and Function" or in the „Safety Instructions". This
product should only be used in a dry environment. Keep the product
away from rain. Not attending to these regulations and safety inst-
ructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to per-
sons and property.
4 Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and ensure com-
patibility.
5 Connection and operation
1. Optionally, attach one of the desired attachments (see Fig. 2) to
the nozzle (1).
2. Plug the power plug (6) into an easily accessible power outlet.
3. Press the I button (2) for the low power setting.

4. Press the II button (2) for the high power setting.
In the O position, the hot air gun is switched off.
77822: You can optionally adjust the temperature continuously using
a rotary control (5) on the rear of the housing.
5. Disconnect all cable connections after use.
6 Connection and operation (77823)
1. Optionally, attach one of the desired attachments (See Fig. 2) to
the nozzle (1).
2. Plug the power cord (7) into an easily accessible power outlet.
3. Slide the slider (6) to position I for the low power setting (100 -
300 °C).
4. Slide the slider (6) to position II for the high power setting (300
- 650 °C).
The temperature is shown on the display (4). The temperature can
be increased or reduced in 10 °C increments using the (+) and (-)
buttons (5).
Power setting I: 100–300 °C in 10 °C increments
Power setting II: 300–650 °C in 10 °C increments
5. Slide the slider (6) to the OFF position to switch off the hot air
gun.
6. Disconnect all cable connections after use.
7 Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transpor-
tation
The product is maintenance-free.
ATTENTION!
Always switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains
before performing any cleaning work!
NOTICE!
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-
protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

8 Disposal instructions

According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and
electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers
waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart
from each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous
substances can damage the health and pollute the environ-
ment. As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical
and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting
points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regu-
