EXTERNAL SENSOR SETTING
This weather station is designedto communicatewith three
externalsensors.Oneof these is suppliedwith the device,the
remaining two are optional.
1 First of all, power up the central unit, as describedin the
POWER SUPPLY - CENTRAL UNITparagraph
2. Within 3 minutes from the activation of the central unit, insert
the batteriesintheexternal s ensor,andselectthetemperature
measurement u nit you preferbetweenOC/OF usingthe OC/OF
key placed under the battery cover
3. Select channel CH 1 on the external sensor;
a signal will be automatically transmitted to the central unit.
4. The weatherstation will display the temperaturevalue of
channel " I " transmittedbytheexternal s ensor(12)onthedial.
f you have two other sensors, proceed according to points
"2" and"3" , the stationwill storesthe valuesrespectivelyin
channels 2 and 3
Note:
Removethe batteriesif you do not use the devicefor a long
period of time.
Replacethe batteries when the display numbers become
less legible or the icon
Afterinsertingthebatteriesin theexternalsensor,the central
unit begins to receive the signal, the antennasymbol (I I)
will flashesfor a few minutes and then goes off once the
connection is successful.
temperature does not occur within 15 minutes:
Removethebatteriesfrom bothunits to performa full reset
PresstheTEST k eyofthetransmitterlocatedunderthebattery
compartment.
Thecentralunit will receive the externaltemperatureauto-
maticallyfrom channel1 to channel3.
Placethetransmitteroutdoorsin asuitableplace.In orderto
ensuregood transmissionat433MHz,the distancebetween
the sensor and the unit must not exceed 30 meters.
IME DISPLAY VIA RADIO CONTROL
This deviceis equippedwith a receivercapableof receivingthe
time signalofthe Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt B raun-
schweig(CentralGermany)receivablein a radiusof 1500Km
Whenthe batteriesareinserted, signalreceptionwill automati-
cally activate,the radio control symbol (6) will flash andwithin
24 hours the radio control time signal will be displayed and the
radiocontrol indication(6) will remainfixed.
If you needto restartsignal reception,holddownthe DOWN key
(15) for a few seconds
appearson the display.
If the indication of the external
DIGITAL CLOCK
- If after 10 minutes the DCFsignal is not received, use the
MODE / SET key (13) to set the time manually.Theclock will
automatically try tolockontotheDCF signaleveryhour.When
this is detected,the receivedtime will overlapthe manually
settime.Thedatewill alsobe updatedwiththe datereceived
TIME ZONE
Thetime is transmittedfrom centralGermany,so if we arein a
country with a differenttime from that of Germanyneedto set
the time zone.
I Oncethetime signalisdetected, h olddowntheMODE/ S ETkey
(13)for a few secondsto enterthemanual c lock adjustment
The"24h" or "12h" time format settingwill appear.
2. Pressthe MODE / SETkey (13) again,the displaywill show
"00" with the ZONE icon (5)flashing
3 Setthe time zoneof your regionusingthe UP(14) or DOWN
(15) keys.
Note:
Placethe clockawayfrom devicesthatgenerate magneticfields
such as cell phones,televisions,etc.
Itmaynotbepossibletoreceivetheradiocontrolsignalinall areas
of Europe.In this caseit is necessaryto set the time manually.
MANUAL ADJUSTMENT
Pressandhold the MODE / SETkey (13) for 3 seconds
Pressthe UP (14) or DOWN(15) keys to setthe time view

in 12 or 24 hour format.
PresstheMODE / SETkey(13)to switchtotheZONE function

4 Pressthe UP(14)or DOWN (15)keysto adjustthetimezone
5 Pressthe MODE / SETkey (13) to moveto settingthe time,
use the UP (14) or DOWN(15) keysto set it
6. Pressthe MODE/ SETkey (13) to move on to settingthe
minutes,usethe UP (14) or DOWN(15) keysto setthem
Pressthe MODE / SETkey (13) to moveto settingthe year,

use the UP (14) or DOWN(15) keysto set it.
Pressthe MODE / SETkey(13)to moveto settingthe month,

use the UP (14) or DOWN(15) keysto set it
9 Pressthe MODE/ SETkey (13) to move on to settingthe
date, usethe UP (14) or DOWN(15) keysto set it.
10 Press the MODE/ SET key (13) to switch to settingthe
languageof the days ofthe week,usethe UP(14) or DOWN
(15) keysto setthe preferredlanguage.
Note: Thereare 8 languagesavailablefor the daysof the week:
English> German> French> Italian> Dutch> Spanish>
Danish> Russian.
11. Pressthe MODE/ SETkey (13) to confirm the settingsor
wait 20 secondswithout pressingany buttonto returnto the
normaldisplay.
