IRONING TIPS

-Always check first that the item is labeled
with ironing instructions. Follow these ironing
instructions in all cases.
-The iron heats up faster than it cools down.
You should therefore start ironing items that
require the lowest temperature, such as those
made of synthetic fibers.
-If the fabric is composed of various fibers,
you should always choose the lowest ironing
temperature to iron the composition of these
fibers.
-Silk and other fabrics that are likely to shine
should be ironed from the inside.

-Velvet and other fabrics that shine quickly
should be ironed in one direction with light
pressure. Keep the iron in motion at all times.
-Pure wool fabrics (100% wool) can be
ironed with a steam iron. Preferably set the
temperature dial to the third position and use
a dry cloth as a mat.
- Never iron over zippers or rivets in the
fabric. This will damage the soleplate. Iron
around such objects.
NOTE: Glare may occur when ironing woolen
fabrics. It is therefore recommended to turn
the iron over and iron the reverse side.
