Connection of the power supply unit and commissioning:
Now please prepare and connect the power supply unit. To do this,
please open the end caps by turning them (bayonet lock). Carefully pull
out the battery holder tube on the loop and equip it with 4 x 1.5 volt baby
batteries with the correct polarity (batteries are not included). Then push
the battery holder tube back into the power supply unit, put on the end
cap and close by turning.
After inserting the batteries, the power supply unit is immediately ready
for use. Correct operation is signaled every 30 seconds by the green LED
lighting up several times.
If the voltage is insufficient (<3.6V), the need to change the battery is
indicated every 30 seconds by the red LED lighting up once.
The battery discharge depends on the environmental influences and the
frequency with which the snail fence is contacted by snails. The
electronics of the power supply are internally protected against short
circuits and there is no danger to persons or batteries.
Environmental type: You can still use the used batteries for many
other devices that require a lower power supply, such as remote
control, clocks, pocket radios, etc.
