BEFORE FIRST USE OF THE READER/KEYPAD, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO RESET IT TO FACTORY
SETTINGS - "RESET" (the test function is activated for 1 minute). *For the mini BBX control unit this is
not necessary as the reset is done by the door manufacturer before installation.
IT IS RECOMMENDED TO ENTER THE ADMINISTRATOR FINGERPRINTS/CODES IMMEDIATELY AFTER
CONNECTING THE READER/KEYPAD.
IF THERE IS NO ACTIVITY WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF CONNECTING THE READER/KEYPAD, THE READER/
KEYPAD IS AUTOMATICALLY DEACTIVATED TO PREVENT UNAUTHORISED USE. IN THIS CASE, THE POWER
SUPPLY TO THE READER/KEYPAD SHOULD BE SWITCHED OFF FOR AT LEAST 5 SECONDS (THE SIMPLEST
WAY IS TO SWITCH OFF THE FUSE) AND THEN SWITCHED BACK ON AGAIN. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO
PERFORM A RESET.
IF THE ADMINISTRATOR FINGERPRINTS/CODES CANNOT BE ENTERED IMMEDIATELY AFTER
CONNECTING THE READER/KEYPAD, THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE READER/KEYPAD MUST BE
SWITCHED OFF UNTIL THE ADMINISTRATOR FINGERPRINTS/CODES CAN BE ENTERED.
