• Type of supply network (TN sys-
tem, IT system, TT system) and the
resulting connecting conditions
(classical zero balancing, protective
earthing, required additional meas-
ures etc.).
7.4 Installation
To install the motion detector outdoor,
proceed as follows:
• Choose an appropriate installation
location.
• Switch off the circuit breaker of the
power circuit.

• Check the condition of the pow-
er supply cable. Damage to the
sheath and core insulation poses a
risk for safety or functioning of the
device.
• Release the mounting plate on the
rear of the device by pressing in
the latching lugs (E).

• Pierce one (or more) cable inlet us-
ing a suitable object, e.g. a screw-
driver.
