SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Ensure the base of the jack is on firm and level ground.
2. Take extra precautions to ensure the jack will not slip after a load is applied. Double-check the
stability and adjust the position if necessary.
3. Before applying any lifting force, ensure the lifting arm of the jack is fully positioned under the load.
4. Prior to lifting, ensure the load is stabilised and secure to prevent any shifting or movement while
lifting or lowering.
5. If working under a lifted vehicle, use jack stands.
6. Lower the load carefully. Avoid pushing off the jack.
7. Do not use handle extensions.
8.Do not carry the jack by its handle.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
A.
TO RAISE A LOAD
- Place the foot of the jack beneath the load, following safety precautions,
- Lift the reversing latch (20) to the 'UP' position, ensuring it is securely in place.
- Jack up the nose until it contacts the load at the desired lifting point.
- Check for any obstacles that could interfere with the lift.
- Pull down on the handle firmly and evenly, observing the load as it rises.
- Listen for the climbing pin (15) clicking into place, indicating it has aligned with a hole in the steel bar
(3).
- Relax the handle, allowing the climbing pin (15) to support the load.
- Raise the handle to the top of its stroke for a fresh grip, then pump the handle to continue raising the
load.
IMPORTANT:
1. Avoid using extensions on the handle.
2. Always maintain a firm grip on the handle.
