ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
The Anti-Calc system in the iron's water tank removes impurities from the water and helps
prevent issues related to limescale build-up. To keep the system performing at its best,
follow these steps periodically:
1.
Disconnect the iron from the power supply and allow it to cool down.
2.
Top up the water refill container to approximately three-fourths (¾) of its capacity.
Add one teaspoon of salt to water and fill the water tank in the iron with the solution.
3.
Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking it gently from time to
time, then empty the tank.
4.
Refill the water tank with the salt-water solution, shaking it occasionally, and then
empty it again after 15 minutes.
5.
Fill the tank with fresh water to flush it out; then pour the water out.
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
The Anti-Drip system continuously regulates the water flow into the iron's soleplate.
Below a certain temperature, the anti-drip function stops the water supply to prevent
water from dripping onto the fabric.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
After unplugging and allowing the iron to cool down, you can easily clean it by wiping
it with a damp cloth. If needed, a mild detergent can be used.
2.
Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents.
3.
Starch and other residues can be easily removed from the iron soleplate by wiping
it with a damp cloth.
4.
To prevent scratching the finish, do not use a metal sponge to clean the soleplate,
and avoid placing the iron on a rough surface.
5.
When ironing synthetic fabrics at high temperatures, there is a risk of damaging the
fabric and covering the iron soleplate with synthetic material residues. To remove
residues of synthetic materials, switch on the appliance and then iron a piece of
cotton cloth.
