DRY IRONING
1.
Pour the water out of the tank to empty the iron.

Place the appliance in an upright position.

Plug the appliance into a power source. The light indicator (10, Fig. A) will turn on
while the iron is heating up and will automatically turn off once it is hot.
4.
Set the temperature control knob to the "0" position (Fig. 2).
SPRAY FUNCTION
To use the spray function, place the appliance in a horizontal position. Fill up the water
tank and then press the spray button (7, Fig. A).
CAUTION! Before using the spray function, check the fabric label for ironing instructions;
some fabrics may become stained or discoloured by moisture.
The spray function can be used during both steam ironing and dry ironing.
STEAM EJECTION FUNCTION
1.
Fill the water tank.
2.
Set the temperature control knob to "MAX".
3.
Wait until the iron soleplate heats up and the light indicator goes out (10, Fig. A).
4.
Press the steam ejection button (6, Fig. A). It may be necessary to press the button
several times in advance to prepare the appliance for operation.
5.
Allow a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fabric before pressing the button
again. For optimal performance, avoid using this function more than three times
consecutively after the indicator light turns off.
SELF-CLEANING FUNCTION
Use the self-cleaning function approximately once a month or more frequently, depending
on how often the appliance is used. To use the self-cleaning function:
1.
Fill the water tank halfway.
2.
Place the iron on the base.
3.
Set the temperature control knob to "MAX".
4.
Connect the iron to a power source.
5.
Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light turns off.
6.
Disconnect the iron from the power source.
7.
Hold the iron horizontally over the sink.
8.
Set the steam control knob to the "Self Clean" position (Fig. 3).
Important! Keep the knob pressed until the self-cleaning process is finished.
9.
Move the iron back and forth while steam and water are being released. Continue
until the water tank is virtually empty.
10.
Turn the steam control knob to the "0" position.
11.
Connect the iron to a power source.
12.
Set the temperature control knob to "MAX". Allow the iron to heat up again. The
remaining water in the steam chamber will now evaporate and exit the iron through
the soleplate.
