Do not use the appliance outdoors or in indoor areas with high humidity.

Do not immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or other liquids.

Before plugging in or unplugging the appliance, make sure to turn the
temperature control knob to the "0" position.

Never pull on the power cord when disconnecting the appliance from
the socket. To disconnect the appliance from the power source, grasp
the plug and pull.
21.
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with any sharp edges
or hot surfaces.
22.
Do not attempt to repair or modify the iron yourself. This could cause a risk
of electric shock or damage the appliance. If you encounter any problems,
contact an authorised service centre.

become hot during use.

OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE
NOTE
Before using the iron for the first time, be sure to remove any protective film that may be
attached to the casing or soleplate. During initial use of the appliance, you might notice
a slight emission of smoke and a specific odour. This is normal and does not adversely
affect the functionality of the appliance. This does not present a safety risk.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
1.
Before filling the tank, remove the iron from the heating base or disconnect the iron
from the power supply. Then set the temperature control knob (8, Fig. A) to the "0"
position.

Place the appliance in a horizontal position.
3.
Open the water inlet cover (3, Fig. A) and then slowly pour water through the inlet
into the water tank (4, Fig. A). Do not exceed the MAX level (Fig. 1).

Close the water inlet cover.
CAUTION! In most cases, tap water is suitable for use in the appliance. Avoid using any
water additives or substitutes, such as laundry detergents or perfumed water. Using them
can cause fabric staining and damage the appliance. Do not exceed the "MAX" level when
filling the water tank.
