Place the dispenser bottle in the collection container. Remove the dispenser from the bottle so that the
aspiration tube is not submerged in the liquid. Tap the aspiration tube against the inside of the bottle. The
residual liquid will flow out of the intake tube, the dispenser is empty.
3.6.2.
Rinsing the dispenser
The dispenser must be empty. Be equipped with a bottle of neutral cleaning fluid and a bottle of
demineralized water.
Screw the dispenser onto a bottle of neutral cleaning fluid, and place the collection vessel under the
dispenser's drain tube. Pump several times to flush the dispenser and then empty it.
Screw the dispenser onto the demineralized water bottle, and place the collection vessel under the dispenser
drain tube. Pump several times to flush the dispenser and then empty it.
Disconnect the dispenser from the bottle and pump the air dry several times.
3.7.
Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Use personal protective equipment when cleaning.
b)
The dispenser must be cleaned if:
the plunger is difficult to move
is used regularly for liquids that form soluble deposits
when changing reagents
c)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning surfaces.
d)
After each cleaning, all parts should be thoroughly dried before the device is reused.
e)
Store the appliance in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
f)
Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any damages.
g)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) as they may damage the surface
of the material from which the appliance is made.
i)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical agents, thinners, fuel, oils, or other chemicals. It
may cause damage to the device.
