PRIOR TO PAINTING
Remove all dust and oil from parts prior to
necessary,wash with detergent,rinse off th0ßL.411y and
allow to air dry.
Remove excess cernent, fill in and clean up joints and
searn lines. Smooth surface using a modelingknife and
fine abrasive papers.
PLASTIC
PAINTS
Standard plastic rnodel paints, like enamels, acrylics,
and lacquers can be used in painting injection molded
models. Lacquer spray is recommendedfor large areas
and acrylic for smalt details. Use of enamel paints are rec-
ornrne•dedfor black-washand drybrushing,so as not to
damage the base coat.

spray,für Heine Details sind Acrylfarbenzu empfehlen.
Die Verwendung von Emaillacken empfiehtt sich für
Nachdunkelungen
und Trockenmattechnik, da hiertei
der Untergrundnicht beschädigtwitd.

holes using a pin vise if necessay.

and preparefor painting usingTamiyametal primer.
MASKING
l/hen painting a curved or irregular border line, roughly
mask off the border area first. Then trace the line with a
pmcil, and cut along this line using a knife and remove
the excess tape. Be careM mt to cut into the plastic sur-
face. Press down the tape edges firmly with your finger
before painting.

einem Stift an der Linie entlang fahren und mit einern
Modelliermesseran dieser Linie entlang schneiden und
das ütMIüssige Klebeband entfemen. Achten Sie
auf, nicht in die Plastik-Oberfläche
einzuschneiden.
Drücken
Sie die Ecken des klebebandes

Wenn Sie Klebeband
auf eine bereits bernaite Oberfäche
anbringen möchten, zuerst vergewissem, 0b die Farbe
vollständig trocka'l ist.

inciser la bande en suivant le tracé et enlever la partie
excédentaire.Veiiler ne pas inciser te plastique lors de
cette opération. Appuyer fermement sur tes bords de la
bande-cache avant d'entamer 'a mise en peinture.
