When turning the machine on/off, keep it away from the workpiece. Before pulling
out the plug, make sure you turned off the machine first. As a beginner you should
start with a low number of revolutions, in order to get accustomed to the equipment.
Caution!
The rotation of the polishing equipment does not stop immediately when switching it
off. Wait for the plate to stop spinning when putting the equipment away.
Pull the power supply plug out before any works on the engine. If you operate the
machine according to this instruction manual, annual maintenance should prove
enough. With attentive care and regular cleaning the product's service life will be
long.
Troubleshooting
In case the equipment is not working as expected, please check the following:
1. Equipment does not function:
- Power is switched off.
- Extension cord is damaged.
2. The electric motor does not achieve the maximum speed:
- Extension cord is too thin or too long.
- Mains voltage is smaller than 230V.
3. The equipment is overheated:
- Let the equipment rest for a while and try it again in a few hours.
- The ventilation is possibly clogged and has to be cleaned with a dry cloth.
- The equipment was overloaded.
- Use this equipment only for indicated purpose.
4. Malfunctioning as signaled by sparking, smoke development or motor running
irregularly:
- In the engine is in need of cleaning or the carbon brush conductors are worn
out.
- The exchange of the carbon brush conductors should be conducted only by a
specialist.
