WICKING
- Carefully pull the cotton through the coil.
- Trim both ends flush with the base.
- Place the cotton into the wicking channels so that it gently touches the bottom
without being packed in. The edge of the deck should remain free.
For optimal liquid flow, we recommend thinning out the cotton slightly.
*Important: In side-airflow setups, the coil sits ideally in the airflow for
maximum compression. In setups with bottom airflow (e.g. triple-air or single
bottom-air), the coil should be slightly lowered (approx. 0.2 mm) to sit
perfectly in the airflow.
Make sure there is no contact between the coil and the bottom airflow screw.
A good indicator: If the vaporizer is too loud, the coil is probably too high.

Tip: If you want more sweetness, warmer vapor, and more intense flavor,
wick the cotton in an S-shape: Cut it so that it extends about 1 cm past each
side of the deck, then place it into the deck in an S-shaped pattern.
Gently tuck the cotton into the wicking channels without stuffing it, and lay the
ends flat in the deck. Moisten the entire cotton strand afterwards.
Make sure the cotton does not touch the coil or lie on the edge of the deck or
over the bottom airpin.
