Maintenance
Canopy Maintenance
Clean the canopy with a garden hose or
lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse with
water.
Only close the parasol when the canopy is dry.
Allow it to air dry—do not use a dryer.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, high-pressure
washers, or corrosive products. The canopy
must not be washed in a washing machine.
Apply a waterproofing spray annually.
Prostor recommends the Prostor Cleaner for
powerful fabric cleaning and the Prostor
RainGuard for extra water repellency.
Pole and Frame Maintenance
Lubricate moving parts annually with oil or
light grease.
Only use dry lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) on
plastic parts and aluminum guide rails.
Regularly clean the pole and frame with water,
especially if installed in a salty or industrial
environment.
Regularly inspect the installation and tighten
any loose parts if needed. This applies to both
the parasol structure and the different
mounting options.
