• Before splitting, check the logs and remove nails or other foreign objects.
• Remove all branches from the log before splitting.
• Before use, check the general technical condition of the device.

Working with the device
1) Place the machine on a flat and level surface. The machine will vibrate during operation, so make sure the
front support is attached to the body to ensure stability.
NOTE: The machine can work properly only when the protective net is in place.
2) The handles must be in the starting position. Check that all moving parts are fully operational. Before
starting work, make sure that the distributor's head is not blocked and that the pusher piston can smoothly
extend.
3) Lay a piece of wood flat on the work table with one end facing the blade. Use caution! The pieces of wood
should be arranged according to the figure below.

4) Move the safety lever with one hand, and move the control lever with the other hand. The piston will quickly
move forward and split a piece of wood. Move the control lever in the opposite direction, the spring will
make the plunger immediately return to its original position, and the machine will be ready to split the next
piece of wood. The machine can only be operated by one person at a time. After placing the log on the work
table, keep both hands on the levers at all times.
5) The movement of the control lever should be done quickly and decisively to achieve better and smoother
gear meshing.
6) If the wood is not split on the first attempt, quickly disconnect the pinion and pinion shaft, (retract the
control lever) to return the pusher plunger to position, wait until the device stabilizes, and then try splitting
the wood again.
7) If the log cannot be split after 3 attempts, try splitting at a different angle or cutting the log to a smaller size.
8) Move the split wood away from the work area and repeat the procedure to split another piece of wood.
3.5.
Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down completely before cleaning, adjusting or replacing
accessories and when the unit is not in use. Wait until the rotating parts stop.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
c)
After each cleaning, all parts should be thoroughly dried before the device is reused.
d)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
e)
Clean the machine before placing it in storage.
f)
Keep the machine out of the reach of children and unauthorized persons.
g)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
h)
Make sure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the casing.
i)
Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.
j)
Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any damages.
k)
Check that nuts and bolts are tightened and the general condition before each use.
