INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKING RICE
The specified rice/water ratio refers to husked white rice. Use the measuring jug provided to measure out the
desired amount of rice and water. Wash the rice several times until the water is no longer cloudy. This prevents
overcooking due to too much starch in the water.

Pour the washed rice and the appropriate amount of water into the inner pot of the rice cooker. Check that the
inner pot is securely anchored in the body of the rice cooker and make sure that there is no liquid outside the inner
pot. Close the lid and connect the power cable to a socket.

The rice cooker is now in keep warm mode. To start the cooking process, press the switch down. The "COOK"
indicator light now lights up for as long as cooking mode is active. TIP: You can use the steamer insert to cook
vegetables in the rice cooker while the rice is cooking.

As soon as the cooking process is complete, the "COOK" indicator light switches off and the "WARM" indicator
light switches on automatically. For optimum results, open the lid as soon as the appliance is in keep-warm mode and
stir the rice thoroughly to release any excess liquid. Then close the lid to keep the rice warm. For best quality, we
recommend keeping the rice warm for no longer than 8 hours. To stop the keep warm function, simply remove the
mains plug from the socket. BON APPETIT FROM REISHUNGER!

WARRANTY
The warranty is valid for 24 months and covers defects that the product already had at the time of purchase. Liability
expires in the event of improper use, unauthorised modification of the product or inadequate monitoring of parts of the
device that are subject to wear and tear.
Use other than for the intended purpose is not permitted. Technical modifications to the product will invalidate any
warranty/property defect claim. In the event of improper use, liability for any damage caused thereby is forfeited.
Repairs to the device may only be carried out by Reishunger GmbH. Otherwise the warranty claim will be forfeited.

DISPOSAL
The owner must dispose of used electrical appliances properly and separately from household waste. Take the
appliance to a waste collection point or to a dealer who can take care of this for you. Improper disposal of electrical
appliances can have negative consequences for the environment and health.
The CE label symbolises the compliance of the product with the valid requirements imposed on the manufacturer
by the European Community. This appliance is also certified for resale in the European Economic Area (EEA).
