Slide the test gauge from top to bottom along the steerer tube as far as it will go.

In this position, the marked edge of the test gauge must
not touch the frame, headset cup, headset components
or spacers.
Before checking, it must be ensured that all compo-
nents besides are firmly in their installation position.
Maintain the necessary fork shaft clamping
area of 42 mm (see 3.2) and add spacers if
necessary.
