4 - Setting spring rate
Test the spring rate in the factory setting.
4.1
Factory setting: 5-6 turns from the ‚soft' end stop (counter-clockwise).
19 turns from the soft end stop to the hard end stop are possible.
A ‚Quick Setup' guide is attached to the stem on delivery.
Both end stops can be felt with a hard ‚stop'.
Avoid over-tightening the stops. Internal components can be damaged.
The stem has dampened end stops in both spring directions.
No damage occurs when the end stop is reached.
Choose a rough ground for your test ride so that the end stop of
the suspension travel is reached.
Adjust the spring rate in the way, that you use the maximum
travel without harsh bottoming out.
