SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Only use the rollator if it is in perfect condition and ensure that
the rollator is fully unfolded.
Do not use a defective rollator!
Check that the screws are tight and that the height adjustment is
correct before using the rollator!
Check the brakes after each height adjustment and make sure
that the brake cables are not trapped.
Test the brakes before each use.
Pay attention to the wear on the tyres! Heavily worn tyres can
impair the braking effect of the rollator. Have damaged parts
replaced by your specialist dealer.
Only use the rollator on level ground – never on stairs or high
edges! To ensure stability and avoid accidents, all four wheels
must always be in contact with the ground during use.
Always hold on firmly with both hands to maintain your balance.
The rollator must not be carried by detachable parts or brake
cables.
Be careful when folding and unfolding the rollator. There is a risk
of jamming!
Do not overload the rollator (max. load 5 kg).
Make sure that the loaded bag has an influence on the manoeuv-
rability of the rollator and do not walk backwards when using the
rollator!
The maximum user weight is 100 kg.
Do not make any design changes to the rollator that you have
not previously agreed with your specialist dealer or Rehaforum
Medical GmbH!
04 SAFET Y INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
The rollator should be cleaned and regularly disinfected after each
use. This is essential if the rollator is used / re-used by another
person. To clean the rollator, rinse it with warm water and use a
mild soapy solution for cleaning. Dry the rollator with a soft cloth
and make sure it is well ventilated. Disinfection can be carried out
using a commercially available disinfectant. Follow the manufactu-
rer's instructions for use. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning
agents or high-pressure or steam cleaners!
STORAGE
Protect the rollator from dust and moisture and store it in a safe
place to protect the frame and wheels from damage! Protect your
rollator from strong heat sources.
MAINTENANCE
The rollator should be serviced annually by your specialist dealer.
The stability of the frame, the strength of the mountable parts and
the tightness of all screws must be checked and repaired if neces-
sary. All screws must be tightened. Worn, damaged or broken parts
must be replaced immediately.
Functional faults If you notice a reduction in braking force,
sluggishness of the wheels, uneven running of the wheels or other
faults such as rust on the linkage, contact your specialist dealer. Do
not use a defective or damaged rollator!
RE-USE
The rollator is suitable for re-use. Before passing the rollator on to
another user, it must be checked, cleaned, disinfected and serviced
by a specialist dealer. If parts of the rollator are damaged or de-
stroyed, they must be replaced with new ones. All loosened screws
must be tightened. The rollator must be in perfect condition before
being used again.
It is forbidden to re-use the rollator if irreparable damage to
the rollator is detected! The instructions for use must be handed
over with every change of user.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of the rollator with normal household waste. Please
contact your specialist dealer or take the rollator to your local waste
disposal centre.
