Specialist knowledge is required here. Incorrect installa-
tion may mean that the ConnectModule or eBike can no
longer be operated in a legally compliant manner.
The ConnectModule is equipped with a wireless inter-

face. There may therefore be local operating restric-
tions, e.g. in aircraft or hospitals. In this instance, fol-
low the instructions below under (see "Transport",
page English – 2).

Intended Use
The ConnectModule is exclusively for use in combination
with an eBike from the system generation the smart sys-
tem, particularly for tracking eBikes in the event of theft.
The ConnectModule is exclusively for use with the related
features from the eBike Flow app. Therefore, a mobile
device is required, on which the eBike Flow app is down-
loaded and installed.
Depending on the smartphone's operating sys-
tem, the eBike Flow app can be downloaded
free of charge from the Apple App Store and
the Google Play Store.
Use your smartphone to scan the code in order
to download the eBike Flow app.

Operation
For the ConnectModule to function, a functioning GPS and
mobile connection are prerequisites.
The ConnectModule has motion sensors, a global positioning
system and mobile communications. This means the Con-
nectModule can identify suspicious movements of the eBike,
determine the local position of the eBike and generate a
local alarm.
Positions and movement data are displayed to the owner of
the eBike in the eBike Flow app.
The ConnectModule thereby also facilitates other services,
such as <eBike Alarm>, which is provided upon subscribing
to Flow+ subscription. Fees may be payable for this.
Further information about the Flow+ subscription, as well
as details about the individual services, can be found in
the eBike Flow app or in the Bosch eBike Help Center.
Starting Operation
As soon as a ConnectModule is installed in an eBike, it can
be activated once the Flow+ subscription subscription is
confirmed.
Services such as <eBike Alarm> can be activated and used
via the eBike Flow app.
The ConnectModule services can be deactivated at any time
via the eBike Flow app and reactivated again when Flow+
subscription is running.
Deactivation of the ConnectModule itself is not provided.
