GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read all instructions before using this appliance. Keep the instructions, warranty,
receipt and, if possible, the original packing.
• This appliance is for domestic household use only. Do not use this appliance for
commercial purposes.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors. Keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight and
moisture. Do not immerse in any liquid or use with wet hands.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or storing.
• Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance. Ensure cables hang
low and are out of children's reach.
• Regularly check the appliance and cable for damage. Do not use the appliance if
damaged – contact a professional technician.
• Do not attempt repairs yourself. Contact a professional technician for repairs. Only use
original spare parts and have faulty cables replaced by qualified personnel.
• Only use original spare parts.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Only use cold water. Ensure the water level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks to
avoid hazards.
• CAUTION! Ensure the kettle is switched off before removing it from its stand.
• Only use the kettle with the stand provided.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. Ensure the lid is tightly closed, and the base and
exterior remain dry. Not for use by persons with reduced capabilities unless supervised.
• Damaged supply cords must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent or
similarly qualified personnel to avoid hazards.
FIRST USE OF THE MACHINE
Before first use, boil fresh water at least twice without any additives.
USE
1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Open the kettle by pressing the unlocking button on the handle. Fill with water to the
appropriate level using the water indicator. Do not overfill.
3. Release the unlocking button on the handle to close the lid.
4. Place the kettle flush on the base.
