How to proceed:
 B, C, D
1. Connect the air hose to the aeration stone.
2. Fit the air hose onto the solar module.
3. Select operating mode A, B or O.
Operating mode Function
A Day operation. The aerator pump only operates when there is sufficient sunlight. Any surplus power is stored in the
rechargeable battery.
O Charging operation. The aerator pump is switched off, the rechargeable battery is charged.
B Night operation. The aerator pump switches on automatically when it is sufficiently dark and is powered by the re-
chargeable battery. When there is sufficient sunlight the pump is switched off and the rechargeable battery is charged.
4. Assemble the ground stake set and attach the solar module to it.
– Ensure that the air hose is routed downwards.
5. Install the solar module so that it is exposed to direct sunlight.
– Recommendation: Align the solar module to the sun to ensure maximum energy yield.
6. Position the aeration stone in the pond.
Cleaning
NOTE
The unit will be damaged if moisture penetrates the motor compartment.

Do not clean the unit under running water.
 Do not submerge the unit!
 Protect the air intake socket from the ingress of water.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they could attack the housing or impair the function
of the unit.
• Recommended cleaning agent for removing stubborn limescale deposits:
– Vinegar- and chlorine-free household cleaning agent.
• Clean the solar module with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
Wear parts
• Aeration stone and air hoses
Storage/winter protection
• Store the unit in a dry and frost-free place.
• Set the switch on the unit to the position "O".
Malfunction remedy
Malfunction
The unit does not deliver any air or the
amount delivered is insufficient.
Cause
The aeration stone has not been in the wa-
ter for long enough.
The aeration stone is soiled.
Air hose kinked or porous
Air hose not correctly fitted
Insufficient sunlight
No suitable operating mode selected
Remedy
Wait. The pores of the dry aeration stone
will completely open after approx. two
hours in the water.
Clean
Lay the air hose without kinks or replace.
Check the air hose.
