9 Open the battery compartment Ofthe Ring Spotlight Cam Battery and slide the mounting
plate out of its slot. Remove the weatherproof plug nearest to the bottom of your Ring
Spotlight Cam Battery and return the mounting plate back to its original position

NOTE
10. Plug the charging cable of your Solar Panel Charger into the input port of Ring Spotlight
Cam Battery and align the screw tabs on the connector with the screw holes. Secure the
connector to your Ring Spotlight Cam Battery with the Machine Screws for the Ring
Spotlight Cam Battery (E) to keep the connection weatherproof.
There will be no indication on the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery nor the Ring
App indicating the charging status of your Ring Spotlight Cam Battery, but
the Solar Panel Charger will start to charge your Ring Spotlight Cam Battery
NOTE
as soon as you complete the above steps and expose the Solar Panel
Charger to direct sunlight.
