EASY STEPS TO GET STARTED
WITH INSECT CALM
1. Prior to applying Insect calm, ensure that the sting area is clean
and that all remains of the sting have been carefully removed.
Ensure that the device is cleaned before and after each use.
For best outcomes, use Insect calm immediately after the
sting or bite occur. However, even at the later stage after the
sting, Insect calm can still be helpful for symptomatic relief and
feeling of greater comfort.
2. Ensure that the batteries are fitted in the battery compartment
and the compartment lid is closed.
3. Long press the button(2) to power up – you will see the indicator
LED light up green(1).
Caution:
• The time required for the device to warm from the minimum
storage temperature (-10°C) between use until the device is
ready for use at ambient temperature 20°C: about 2 hours.
• The time required for the device to cool from the maximum
storage temperature (55°C) between use until the device is
ready for use at ambient temperature (20 °C) : about 2 hours.
4. Select an appropriate programme:
- for sensitive skin or for first use – select 3 seconds programme
by pressing the function button once (1 x)
- for normal skin and subsequent applications – select 6 seconds
programme by pressing the function button twice (2 x)
