Attaching
NOTE: If your model has the RJ-45 connector
located at the back and you will be using LAN,
you must open the connector cover before
attaching the keyboard.
1. Disconnect the AC adapter from F110.
2. Hold the keyboard dock in the way that the
clamp faces up. Put your thumb on the
clamp's raised strip to push open the clamp
and then rotate the bracket
to 90-degree angle.
3. Align the Windows logo button on F110 with
the triangle marking on the dock and attach
F110's lower side at an angle
(as shown by
). This should
match the docking connector
on F110 with the connector
pins on the dock.
Carefully place the bracket's
clamp over the upper
side of F110 (as shown
by
).
CAUTION: When engaging the clamp, do not
put any finger near the edge
of the clamp. (Refer to the
"dotted line box" area in
the picture here.)
4. Firmly press down the clamp
to ensure that the clamp fully
locks F110 in place.
5. You can tilt the bracket forward
or backward for viewing clarity.
There is a limit to the tilting
angle. Do not go beyond
the limit (110 degrees).
NOTE:
•
Adjusting the display beyond the allowed
angle or handling the device in an inadequate
and unstable fashion may result in a temporary
signal disconnection between the keyboard
dock and F110. The connection will restore
itself in a few seconds once you have posi-
tioned the set steadily.
•
Closing F110 (folded up) does not affect the
status of F110. It does not cause F110 to shut
down or hibernate.
CAUTION: When transporting
F110 with the keyboard dock
attached, fold it up first and
carry the set in a safe manner.
Never carry the set around by
simply grasping the clamp.
Detaching
1. To release F110, hold it with one hand and
pull the clamp off with the other hand.
2. Remove F110 from the keyboard dock.
NOTE: Beware that repeated dismounting of
F110 from the keyboard will cause normal wear
on the rubber exterior of F110.
