Attaching Classic DOC skimmer
to a horizontal aquarium top
(The water level can be 2 to 210 mm (.07 to 8.2 in.)
below the glass edge, or 2 to 180mm (.07 to 7 in.)
upper the glass edge).
Note: Given a slant of the skimmer of more than
10mm (.39 in.) relative to the aquarium pane, an
effective operation is no longer ensured. For this
reason, check the load-bearing capacity of the
horizontal top, and reinforce, if and when required
(Fig. D) !
A - Premount the clamping holding device (1).
B - Use the retaining screw (2) to set the glass
thickness (max. 19 mm (.74 in.)).
C - Premount spacer plates (3), the screws (4) and
nuts (5) to the perforated rail (6) and the skimmer;
subsequently hang into the holder (1) and tighten
the clamping screws (7).

Remarque : une inclinaison de l'écumeur de plus
de 10mm ne permet plus de garantir une bonne
efficacité de son fonctionnement. De ce fait, il est
utile d'éprouver la solidité du support et de renforcer
ce dernier le cas échéant (Illustr. D).
A - Procédez à un premier montage du support (1).
B - Réglez l'épaisseur du verre (19mm max.) à l'aide
de la vis (2).
C - Pré-montez la plaque (3), la vis (4) et l'écrou (5)
sur le rail (6) et sur l'écumeur puis accrochez dans
le support (1) et serrez la vis de fixation (7).
