GENERAL SAFETY PROVISIONS
NOTE!
Read the operating instructions carefully, follow the warnings and safety
conditions contained therein. The appliance has been designed for safe
operation. Nevertheless: installation, maintenance and operation of the
appliance can be dangerous. Following the following procedures will
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury and will reduce the installation
time of the appliance
SPECIFIC REGULATIONS FOR SAFE SCREWDRIVER OPERATION
• - Wear ear protection and safety goggles when working with a
screwdriver. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss. Metal filings
and other flying particles can cause permanent eye damage .
• - Hold the tool by the insulated surfaces of the handle when carrying
out work where the work tool could encounter concealed electrical
wires.

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR SAFE SCREWDRIVING WORK
• - Only recommended batteries and chargers should be used.
• - Do not change the direction of rotation of the tool spindle
during its operation. Failure to do so may result in
damage to the screwdriver.
• - Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screwdriver. Do not use detergent
or alcohol.
• - Do not repair a defective appliance yourself. Repairs may only be
carried out by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre.

PURPOSE
The screwdriver is a battery-powered hand-held power tool. It is driven by
a brushless motor whose speed is reduced via a planetary gear. This type
of power tool is widely used for screwdriving and unscrewing, drilling holes
in wood and wood-like materials. Their areas of use are in renovation and
construction work, carpentry, and any work in the field of independent
amateur activity (DIY). The screwdriver can be used with a range of
sockets, screwdriver bits and bits of various lengths, which have 1/4'' hex
shanks. Although the unit is designed for use as a screwdriver, it can also
be used with drills that have 1/4'' hex shanks for light drilling work (e.g.
making pilot holes).
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
PREPARATION FOR WORK
NOTE: The tool is equipped with a tool/battery protection system.
This system automatically cuts power to the motor to extend the life
of the tool and batteries. The tool will automatically stop during
operation if the tool or battery pack is in one of the following
conditions:
Overload protection
If the battery pack is operated in such a way as to draw an abnormally high
current, the tool stops automatically without any indication. In such a
situation, switch off the tool and stop the work that caused the tool to
overload. The tool should then be switched on to restart.
