6.4 EXPLANATION OF THE LED INDICATOR LIGHT AND LED BAR
The LED indicator light and the LED BAR measure the voltage and indicate the operation of the
electric fence energiser and any faults on the fence.
LED indicator light
The LED indicator light shows the current status of the electric fence energiser:
∙
Permanent light: Operation via the power grid
∙
Flashing:
Operation via rechargeable battery
∙
Meaning of the colours:
• blue:
Operation with higher output (100%)
• violet:
Operation with reduced output up to max. 5 J
• red:
Warning or error status (e.g. battery voltage drops below 12 V or erratic
fence loading)

If the battery voltage falls below 11.6 V, the alarm sounds (beep). If the voltage
falls below 11.4 V, the device switches off to protect the battery from deep
discharge, which can destroy the battery. If a discharged battery and an adapter
are connected at the same time, the red LED lights up until the battery is charged
with at least 12 V.
»
When connecting a battery, ensure that the 12 V battery connection (4) is used.
If the connection is incorrect and the battery charge status is low, the device
will not emit a signal and will switch off.
LED BAR
The LED BAR displays the output voltage of the fence and consists
of six LEDs: 2 red, 2 yellow, and 2 green. The LED BAR cycles through
the LEDs from the first red position to the indicated position, where
it pauses briefly.
