During operation, the projector emits a very intense light from the optical lens located
at the front: absolutely avoid looking directly at the beam emitted to avoid injury to
the organs of sight.
•
Adequate supervision must be ensured in the case of use by children or persons with
reduced cognitive and/or motor skills.
•
If the projector emits unusual noises, smoke or an unpleasant odour, or if abnormal
deformations, bulges or cracks are detected in the casing, proceed as follows:
disconnect the power supply via the switch on the electrical panel, disconnect the
projector from the mains and only then reset the electrical panel. Contact qualified
technical personnel.
•
The projector must be used only with original accessories: the use of non-original
accessories may result in malfunctioning and/or damage as well as the loss of the
technical safety requirement and invalidation of the warranty.
•
Carefully avoid any contact of the projector with liquids and work in such a way as to
prevent this circumstance from occurring accidentally. Do not place the projector near
taps, pressure pipes, steam vents, tanks, automatic or manual sprinklers, surfaces
subject to heavy condensation and plants and flower pots. No objects containing water
should be placed near or on the projector.

Cleaning operations must be carried out taking care to disconnect the projector from
the power supply: refer to the following chapter for the relevant requirements.

There is no reason to disassemble the projector, even after it has been
decommissioned. Any type of technical check or repair must absolutely be carried out
by competent, specialised technical personnel. Disassembling the projector will
invalidate the warranty and can be very dangerous for the user's safety.
•
In the case of ceiling installation, the utmost attention must be paid to the quality of
the fixing of the bracket to the ceiling and of the projector to the bracket, checking the
suitability of the masonry as well as the tightening of any plugs and fixing screws.
Sloppy, inaccurate or badly executed installation may cause falling and consequent
damage to the device, with the possibility of even serious injury and trauma to persons
or animals.
•
Also check that the installation of the projector does not obstruct the opening of doors
and windows and that, in the case of ceiling installation, its lower edge is no less than
2.50 m from the floor when installation is complete.
•
Projector installation must not get in the way of movable elements such as air
conditioning splits, fans or ceiling agitators. It is also essential not to place the projector
in the vicinity of lamps, chandeliers, spotlights or other lighting devices, especially if
they are subjected to strong heat, nor along the line of the emitted light they generate.
•
Connection of projectors to controlled sockets, timers, electromechanical actuators,
power strips, multi-socket adapters and power extensions is not recommended.
