4. Usage

4.1 Turning on/off dryer

Turn on the refrigeration dryer, but only starts working after a 12 second delay to stabilize the
system pressure. For the same reasons, a restart is not possible until 5 minutes later. After
the automatic self-diagnosis, the current dew point value of the compressed air appears on
the display. If you press and hold the «▼», the condensation temperature appears on the
display.

4.2 Dryer operation

The refrigeration dryer is configured and operates fully automatically. In normal operation,
the display shows the actual dew point temperature of the compressed air.
When compressed air consumption stops and the dew point temperature drops to 0 °C
or less, the dryer switches to ECO energy saving mode and the refrigeration compressor
switches off, the control continues to display the current dew point of the compressed air.
The minimum time that the refrigeration dryer is in ECO energy saving mode is 6 minutes.
When compressed air consumption increases again and the dew point temperature rises,
the refrigeration compressor starts and the refrigeration dryer goes into normal operation.

The RDX refrigeration dryers may only be operated by sufficiently
qualified personnel.
Never switch off the refrigeration dryer while the compressed air
system is under pressure.
