im ON-OFF: Press the POWER key to switch the set on or off.
m™ VOLUME: Press the - key or + key to adjust the volume.
@ BASS (low notes) / TREBLE (high notes) / BALANCE (left/right) / FADER
(front/rear)
Bass Briefly press the BAS/BAL key. Adjust the setting with the — or + key (Min -4, Max +4).
Treble Briefly press the TRE/FAD key. Adjust the setting with the - or + key (Min -4, Max +4).
Balance Press the BAS/BAL key for at least 2 seconds (until you hear a beep).
Adjust the setting with the - or + key (Max. Left 9-0, Mid 9-9, Max. Right 0-9).
Fader Press the TRE/FAD key for at least 2 seconds (until you hear a beep).
Adjust the setting with the ~ or + key (Max. Rear 9-0, Mid 9-9, Max. Front 0-9).
m@ LOUDNESS (to increase low notes and high notes)
¢ Press the LDN key for at least 2 seconds to switch loudness on or off. The display shows
'LOUD' when loudness is on.
Hi PLAYBACK: Slide the cassette (with the open side to the right) into the cassetie opening.
-Cassette playback starts. The display shows 'tAPE >' or 'tAPE <'.
Autoreverse: At the end of the tape, playback automatically continues with the other side.
mi REVERSE: To change the direction of play before the end of the tape, press both
the << and p> keys at the same time.
FAST FORWARD / REWIND (during fast forward / rewind you hear the radio)

¢To stop the fast forward / rewind before reaching the end of the tape, slightly
press the key which has not been pressed (<< or >>}.
& CASSETTE EJECT: Press the 4 key. Take the cassette out of the player.
* Only use good quality cassettes (cassettes longer than C-90 are not recommended).
e Never expose cassettes to heat, direct sunlight, moisture or dust.
Clean the tape head (once or twice a month) using a wet-type cleaning cassette.
