A Philips CD changer (D2B type) can be connected to this car radio. See your dealer for
more information.
¢ Check that the magazine is loaded with discs and inserted in the CD
changer.
m CD PLAYBACK
* Briefly press the CD key.
* If you want to start playback commencing with a specific disc, press the
corresponding preset key (1 - 6).
- The player starts playback, beginning with track 1.
- The display shows: the track number, 'Cd' and the disc number (for example 'O3Cd 4').
- At the end of the disc, playback automatically continues with the next available disc.
m@ PLAYING A SPECIFIC TRACK (NEXT/PREVIOUS)
* Briefly press the —« or m key one or more times to select the desired track (shown on
display). Playback resumes, starting from the chosen track.
m@ FAST FORWARD/BACKWARD
*To quickly move to another part of the disc during playback, press the ~« or m key
for at least 2 seconds. Playback resumes when you release the key.
m@ SCANNING TRACKS (to play the first 10 seconds of each track on the current disc)
*Press the SCN key (for at least 2 seconds for versions with INF/ SCN key).
The display shows the track number being scanned and 'SC'.
°To stop the scan, press the SCN key again (for at least 2 seconds for versions with
INF/SCN key).
@ RANDOM
PLAYBACK (on current disc)
°Press the RND key. The display shows 'rd' and the track number.
*To resume normal playback, press the RND key again.
@ SWITCHING BACK TO RADIO/CASSETTE
*Briefly press the CD key. CD playback stops. The set returns to radio or cassette playback.
if you hear a beep and/or the display shows 'Err' or 'noCd', check that:
(1) the magazine has been loaded with discs and inserted in the CD changer;
(2) the discs have been inserted the correct way up;
(3) you have not inserted a damaged or dirty disc.
