and also by prior cleaning of the cold blade
using a textile dipped in acetone. Polystyrene
is soluble in acetone. Clean the blade and other
tools with acetone only with the tool removed
from the device and only once the tool has
cooled down, otherwise acetone fumes could
ignite.
•
ATTENTION
y During work, provide for quality ventilation of
the work area because when the device heats up
and when polystyrene is melted, health dama-
ging fumes are generated (necessary protective
measures and protection level is specified on the
safety sheet of the respective plastic).
y Do not inhale the fumes, they are damaging
to health.

has an explosive or flammable atmosphere or
easily ignitable materials or in the vicinity.
y Do not use the device for any other purpose
than for which it is intended and do not modify
it for any other purpose.
y During use, provide for quality ventilation of
the area as the inhalation of the generated
fumes is harmful to health and may result in
EN
irritation to the eyes and the mucous membra-
nes of the respiratory tract.
y Protect the USB-C socket/plug against clogging
with debris, e.g. dust and the ingression of
water. The ingression of debris could result in
a short-circuit. After charging, put a protective
rubber cap on to the USB-C socket.
y Protect the device against rain and
the ingression of water.
y Protect the device against
temperatures exceeding
50°C and do not throw it
Max. 50°C
into a fire. Risk of the built-in battery exploding.
y Protect the device against impacts,
e.g. as a result of being dropped.
Prevent mechanical damage to the
device. Mechanical damage may result in the
leakage of electrolyte from the built-in batte-
ry. In the event that skin has been sprayed,
wash under running water using soap. In the
event that eyes are affected, immediately
wash them out with a current of flowing water
and seek medical treatment.
Storage
y In the event that the cordless cutter will not

polystyrene remains can be removed from cold
cutting tools using a textile dipped in acetone.
Polystyrene foam is soluble in acetone.
y If necessary, clean the surface of the device
using only a textile dampened with water.
Using organic solvents or aggressive cleaning
agents would damage the plastic parts on
the body of the device. Prevent water from
entering the inner parts of the device (e.g. into
the connectors).

y If it is necessary to replace the line, wind the
line around several times in the respective
location as shown in fig. 9 and secure the free
end against coming loose. Secure the line on
both sides of the fork at the same height so
that the line is horizontal. Use only the original
resistance line with the part no.: 8891504B (10
m per spool).

the respective sorted waste.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

electric equipment, prior the equipment being
handed over for ecological disposal, at a batte-
ry collection point separately. You can find
information about electric equipment waste
and battery collection points and collection
conditions at your local town council office or

You can find information about these collection
points at your local town council office or at
your vendor.
