RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK
circle-c
The product contains a non-replaceable,
rechargeable battery pack. If the battery is empty, it should be
recharged immediately to avoid deep discharge. A deep discharge
will damage the battery and lead to total failure in the long term.
Charge your rechargeable battery at least once every 3 months in
order to maintain its service life.
Keep the rechargeable battery away from small metal objects that
could cause the contacts to short-circuit. A short circuit between
the battery contacts can result in burns or fire. Any short-circuit
damage arising in this context will result in any warranty claim
being voided.
Place the product only on clean surfaces. In particular, avoid
contaminating the charging socket or the contacts, e.g. with sand
or soil.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE

PROPER INTENDED USE
The product is intended for use as a jump starter for 12 V vehicle
batteries, for charging mobile appliances that have a 5 V USB
input, and as a work light.
The jump starter can be used to restart a vehicle with a 12 V
battery. It is suitable for starting diesel and petrol engines.
The integrated USB output can also be used to charge mobile
devices such as tablets or smartphones. Includes LED work light
12
with continuous light, strobe and SOS function. Please note before
starting:
• Only the jump leads may be connected to the jump starter
during a jump start. It is not possible to supply another
appliance via the USB port and must be disconnected
beforehand.
• The jump start specifications in the vehicle's operator's
manual must be observed. Failure to observe the
specifications can result in damage to the vehicle.
• Switch off all current collectors such as headlamps and radio
on the vehicle.
• Never attempt to start a vehicle without the starter battery
connected.
• Ensure that the plug of the jump leads is firmly
connected to the appliance socket. If the connection is loose
during the jump-start process, the plug connection may melt
due to the high current.
• Ensure that the terminals of the jump leads are firmly
attached to the battery terminals and that the terminals of
the vehicle battery are clean.
• Warning! Never connect the terminals of the jump leads when
the 'Boost' button is pressed and during the jump-start
process – short circuit with sparking possible, risk of
explosion.
• The jump starter should have at least 75% battery capacity so
that there is sufficient power for a successful start attempt.
• The storage temperature must be within the range
of + 5 °C...+ 40 °C.
• The ambient temperature during the jump-start process must
be within the range of – 15 °C...+ 40 °C.
• Only use the supplied jump leads with the pole terminals.
Please note during use:
• Connect the terminals firmly to the battery terminals.
• Stow the jump starter securely in the engine compartment so
that it cannot fall during the starting process.
• The jump starter and the connecting leads must not be within
reach of moving parts.
• Pressing the 'Boost' button overrides the safety devices
integrated in the jump starter. Therefore, always connect the
jump starter to the battery first and then press the 'Boost'
button.
FIRST USE
1. Slide open the cover of the jump lead connection and connect
the jump leads to the jump starter.
2. First connect the red lead to the positive terminal and then the
black lead to the negative terminal of the vehicle battery.
