After the maximum service life of the product, the appliance must be withdrawn from use and returned to the
manufacturer or disposed of properly.

Do not make any changes to the product.
•
Repairs prior to use may only be carried out by the manufacturer.
•
An instruction manual / test book is supplied with each appliance. This must be kept with the equipment.
•
It is also essential to observe the instructions for use of the products used in conjunction with the rope access
equipment as well as the applicable accident prevention regulations.
•
The declaration of conformity can be downloaded from www.mittelmann.com.
•
As required, but at least once a year, the vacuum packaging must be inspected by the manufacturer or an
expert. This inspection must be documented and dated in the inspection instructions supplied. In addition,
the next inspection date must be visibly noted on the inspection report.
•
The security seal is opened annually. The vacuum packaging is visually and haptically checked for damage.
If intact, the inspection sticker is affixed to the next free surface. If the seal is still intact, the manufacturer's
inspection is only necessary after 15 years.
•
The type plate with the date of manufacture and the serial number can be found in the operating instructions
and on the appliance.
•
If the equipment is resold to another country, the reseller must provide instructions for use, maintenance,
periodic inspection and repair in the language of the other country.
•
The product must not be used as a means of passenger transport.
