11. Caution: Only operate the appliance on non-flammable, flat, stable
and sufficiently heat resistant surfaces and not near water sources,
other hotplates, gas flames or other sources of heat and out of the
reach of children.
12. Make sure the appliance stands level on all four feet.
13. Ensure sufficient free space above and near the appliance. Do not
cover the warming tray while it is heating up.
14. Avoid smashing or kinking the power cord or having contact to hot
surfaces or liquids, and abrasion on sharp edges.
15. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the appliance in
a way that no one can fall over the cord.
16. Risk of burns and injuries!
Using the device results in high temperatures. Even after use,
there is residual heat. Grasp the appliance by the handles only.
If necessary, use oven gloves or potholders.
17. Do not carry or move the warming tray when there is a dish, a pot
or a pan on top of it.
18. Do not pull on the cable to move the appliance. Lift the appliance
and place it in the desired location. Do not carry or move the appliance
as long as it is in operation. Pull the plug from the socket and allow
the appliance to cool down.
19. Remove the mains plug every time after use, and also:
- if the appliance is not being under your direct supervision
- in the event of malfunctions whilst in operation
- every time that it is being cleaned
Do not pull on the power cord, but on the plug itself!
20. Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plug in water or other
liquids. Do not clean it in the dishwasher.
21. Never use the appliance if you discover damage or if it has fallen
down.
22. Check the power cord before every use for damage. If the power
cord is damaged, it must immediately be replaced. This may only
be arranged by the manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly
qualified and authorized specialist.
23. Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event
of a malfunction, have the appliance repaired by qualified experts
only! Contact your authorized dealer whenever the appliance is in
need of repairs.
24. Use original accessories only.
Before the first use
⋅ Start by carefully reading the instructions for use and the safety instructions.
⋅ Remove all packaging materials.
⋅ Clean the surface of the warming tray with a damp cloth, then dry it
off thoroughly.
Use
⋅ Place the warming tray on a plane, stable and heat-resistant surface.
⋅ First insert the mains cable into the warming tray and then insert the
plug into a suitable socket.
⋅ Switch on the appliance, the heating process begins and the red control
lamp lights up. After approx. 3 minutes, the green indicator lamp lights up.
⋅ We recommend a heat-up time of approx. 10 minutes to achieve the
maximum temperature of 130 °C / ± 20 °C and a heat storage time
of approx. 1 hour.
⋅ Remove the plug from the socket first and then remove the cable from
the appliance.
