The liquid heating appliance (kettle) is intended for boiling
drinking water only.

ATTENTION!
For additional protection in the power circuit, it is recommended
to install a residual current device (RCD) with a nominal trip cur-
rent not exceeding 30 mA. To install the RCD contact a specialist.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Thoroughly study the manual before using the unit, and keep
it for future reference. Use the unit for intended purposes only,
as specified in this manual. Mishandling the unit can lead to
its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/
her property.
Use the unit for its intended purpose only and in strict
accordance with the instruction manual.
Make sure that the kettle operating voltage corresponds to
the voltage of your mains.
The power cord is equipped with a Euro-plug; insert it into a
socket that has a reliable grounding connection.
To avoid fire, do not use adapters for connecting the ket-
tle to the mains.
Do not use the kettle in bathrooms. Do not use it near swim-
ming pools or other water-filled containers.
Do not use the kettle in close proximity to heat sources or
open flames.
Do not use the unit in places where aerosols are sprayed or
highly flammable liquids are used.
Do not use the kettle outdoors.
Do not leave the kettle unattended when it is on.
Place the kettle on a steady flat surface; do not place the
kettle on the edge of the table.
Do not direct the kettle spout at wooden furniture, electri-
cal appliances, books or objects which can be damaged by
moisture or hot steam.
Before switching the kettle on, make sure that it is placed on
the base without tilting.
Only use the base supplied with the unit.
Do not let the power cord hang from the edge of the table
and make sure it does not touch hot surfaces or sharp fur-
niture edges. You can adjust the power cord length by wind-
ing it around the base.
Do not touch the power cord or power plug with wet hands.
Do not switch the kettle on if it is empty.
Do not pour water into the kettle when it is already on the
base.
Be careful, avoid getting liquid on the electric connectors of
the kettle or the base during cleaning, filling the kettle with
water, and pouring the water out!
Do not use the kettle if the lid is not closed tightly.
Take the kettle off the base before opening the lid.
Use the kettle only for boiling drinking water, do not heat or
boil any other liquids.
Ensure that water level in the kettle is not below the minimal
mark «0.5 L» and not above the maximal mark «MAX». If the
water level exceeds the maximum mark, boiling water may
overflow from the kettle during boiling. If there isn't enough
water, the kettle will be switched off before the water boils.
Make sure that no water gets on the display or touch but-
tons.
To avoid getting burned by hot steam, do not lean over the
kettle spout while it is operating.
Do not open the kettle lid while water is boiling. Be careful
when opening the lid of the kettle immediately after boil-
ing water.
Do not touch hot surfaces of the kettle, only take it by the
handle.
Caution: The surface of the kettle heating element remains
hot for some time after use!
Be careful when carrying a kettle filled with boiling water.
Do not remove the kettle from its base while it's in opera-
tion. If you need to take the kettle off, first switch its heating
off according to the instruction manual, and then remove
it from base.
Unplug the kettle base before cleaning and when you are
not using the kettle. Never pull the power cord when dis-
connecting the base from the mains; take the power plug
and carefully remove it from the mains socket.
Be careful, avoid getting liquid on the electric connectors of
the kettle or the base during cleaning, filling the kettle with
water, and pouring the water out!
