•
Some water can appear on the kettle base after boiling a small
amount of water on account steam condensation during the
unit operation. It is normal and is not a defect of the kettle.
•
To avoid electric shock, do not submerge the unit and the
base into water or any other liquids.
•
Do not wash the kettle or the base in a dishwashing machine.
•
This unit is not intended for use by children.
•
Place the unit out of reach of children while it operates or
cools down.
•
Do not allow children to touch the unit body or the power
cord during operation of the unit.
•
The unit is not intended to be used by people (including chil-
dren) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities or by per-
sons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under the
supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if
they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
•
Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the
unit as a toy. For child safety reasons do not leave polyeth-
ylene bags, used as packaging, unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene
bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
•
Check the integrity of the power cord, the power plug and
the kettle body periodically.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, the maintenance service or similar qualified
personnel to avoid danger.
•
Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the
unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, unplug the unit and contact any authorized ser-
vice center from the contact address list given in the war-
ranty certificate and on the website www.rondell.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original packaging only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children or people with dis-
abilities.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. COM-
MERCIAL USE AND USE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK
SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE FIRST USE

After transportation or storage of the unit at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room tempera-
ture before switching on.
There may be water spots in the kettle, this is normal, as the
unit has undergone factory quality control.
– Unpack the kettle and remove any stickers that can pre-
vent unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use it if it appears to
be damaged.
– Make sure that the operating voltage of the unit corre-
sponds to the voltage of your mains.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC system and 50
or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does not need any additional
settings for operating with the required nominal frequency.
– Place the kettle on the base (8).
Note: there is a cord storage (9) on the reverse side of the
base (8). You can adjust the optimal length of the power cord
by arranging it appropriately in the cord storage.
– Insert the power cord plug into the mains socket.
– To fill the kettle with water, remove it from the base (8), open
the lid (3) by pressing the lid opening button (4).
– Fill the kettle with water up to the maximal water level mark
«MAX».
– Close the lid (3), place the kettle on the base (8). Make sure
that the kettle lid (3) is closed tightly.
Note: the control button (6) «
enough to touch the button to select the necessary operation
mode, each pressing of the button is accompanied by a short
sound signal.
– To switch the kettle on, press the control button (6) «
twice, you will hear a short sound signal and the kettle will
enter standby mode, the digital symbols of the water tem-
perature in the kettle in °C will appear on the display (5).
Note: if you did not press the control button (6) «
1 minute, the kettle will be switched off automatically and the
display indications will go out.
– To boil water, press the control button (6) «
flashing 100° boiling temperature digital symbols and the
water boiling indicator «
for a while. After some time (~ 5 sec.), the boiling process
will begin, the digital symbols of the current water heating
temperature in °C will appear on the display (5).
– After the water boils, you will hear a long sound signal,
the 100 °C temperature digital symbols will appear on the
display (5), the water boiling process will stop, and after
1 minute the display indications will go out, the kettle will be
switched off automatically.
– Drain the water and repeat the water boiling procedure
2-3 times.
ATTENTION! To avoid scalding from hot steam, do not lean
over the kettle spout (2) while it is operating.
Note:
– To stop the selected boiling process press and hold the
control button (6) « » for more than 2 seconds, you will
hear a short sound signal, the boiling process will stop and
the kettle will switch to the standby mode, the digital sym-
bols of the water temperature in the kettle in °C will appear
on the display (5).
