Warning: make sure the straps are not twisted
and the metal buckle cannot be pulled out of the
backrest.
Adjusting the position of the buckle (Fig. 14)
The buckle (I) can be set in four different
positions (fig. 14).
Adjust the position of the buckle so that it is
always in the hole nearest the child.
Adjust the length of the strap so that the buckle
does not create discomfort on the legs of the child.
To adjust the position and length of the buckle:
Take the metallic plate that holds the buckle
Pass it through the holes in the seat until it
reaches the desired position.

Position the child seat on one of the vehicle's
rear seats or on the front passenger seat.
Warning: Regulations in certain countries do not
allow child seats to be installed on vehicle front
seats: Check the law in your country before
proceeding.
Warning: Do not use the child seat on the front
passenger seat if the vehicle is equipped with
an active passenger side airbag.
Warning: Do not fit the child seat on a seat that
only has a lap belt.
Warning: Do not put anything between the child
seat and the car seat.
Group 0+ (children up to 13 kg) (Fig. 16 - 22)
Notice: Use the newborn insert (G) for babies of
less than three months.
Warning: the child seat must be installed in a
rear-facing position with respect to the forward
direction of travel of the vehicle.

How to fit the child seat (Fig. 16 - 22)
Pull the child seat forwards to recline it fully.
Rotate booster lever (N) until it is fully extended
(fig. 16).
Place the child seat on the car seat. Push the
front of the child seat base against the backrest
of the car seat (fig. 17).
Check that the seat is locked in the new
position. Make sure booster lever (N) and base
(O) are firmly located on the car seat.
Warning: The car seat belt routing positions are
marked in light blue. Do not route the car seat
belt in positions other than those indicated.
Identify the car seat belt routing points.
Thread the lap section of the car seat belt
through both guides (L) located at the front of
the child seat base (fig. 18).
Fasten the car seat belt (fig. 19).
Route the diagonal section of the car seat belt
over the child seat (fig. 20).
Thread the diagonal section of the car seat belt
through the belt guide located on the same side
as the car seat belt retractor reel (fig. 21).
Warning: Tension the car seat belt carefully to
take up any slack.
Warning: Check there are no twists in any
sections of the car seat belt.
Warning: after fastening the car seat belt
check the position of the buckle. The correct
position is shown in fig. 22. If the buckle is in
a different position, shift the child seat
sideways on the car seat until finding the
correct position. If you are in doubt, seek
assistance from the manufacturer or retailer.
TIPS
If the car seat belt seems to be too short:
make sure the child seat is properly located
against the backrest of the car seat;
if it is adjustable, move the car seat to its
fully backward position;
if an adjustment is provided, adjust the car
seat belt height to the lowest possible
position.
How to remove the child seat from the car
Unbuckle the car seat belt.
Pull the belt off the child seat and allow it to retract.
Group 1 (from 9 to 18 kg) (Fig. 23 - 31)
Warning: The child seat must be installed in a
forward-facing position with respect to the
forward direction of travel of the vehicle.
How to fit the child seat (Fig. 23 - 29)
Make sure that booster lever (N) is closed.
Place the child seat on the car seat. Position the
child seat so that it fits snugly on the car seat.
Warning: The car seat belt routing positions are
marked in red. Do not route the car seat belt in
positions other than those indicated.
Route the car seat belt between the base and
the child seat (fig. 23).
Fasten the car seat belt (fig. 24).
Insert the lap section of the car seat belt into
tensioner (A) located on the same side as the
car seat belt retractor reel (fig. 25).
Tension the belt fully. Check that the belt is not
twisted.
Insert the lap section of the car seat belt into
belt restraint guide (B) located on the same side
as the car seat belt retractor reel (fig. 26).
Check that the belt is completely inside the belt
restraint guide.
Close the belt restraint guide.
Thread the belt through belt guide (E) (fig. 27).
Repeatedly operate belt tensioner (A) until the
belt is taut with no slack (fig. 28).
Warning: For the maximum effectiveness it is
advisable to activate the belt tensioner as the
last step in the procedure.
Warning: after fastening the car seat belt
check the position of the buckle. The correct
position is shown in fig. 29. If the buckle is in
a different position, shift the child seat
sideways on the car seat until finding the
correct position. If you are in doubt, seek
assistance from the manufacturer or retailer.
How to remove the child seat from the car
(Fig. 30 - 31)
Unbuckle the car seat belt.
Squeeze the tabs at the side of belt tensioner
(A) and then push the lever downwards to
unlock the mechanism (fig. 30).
Pull the car seat belt to disengage it completely
from the belt tensioner (fig. 31).
Open belt restraint guide (B).
Pull the belt out of the child seat and allow it to
retract on the reel to complete the procedure.
How to position a child in the seat (Fig. 32 - 37)
Press adjuster (J) underneath the seat and
simultaneously pull both the harness straps (fig. 32).
Press the red button on buckle (I) to open it (fig. 33).
Lay the two halves of the buckle on the sides of
the child seat (fig. 34).
Place the child in the seat.
Bring the two tongues of the harness together.
Insert the tongues into buckle (I) (fig. 35). Correct
closing of the buckle is confirmed by a click.
Position the pads (H) on the shoulders and chest
of the child and pull them fully downward (fig. 36).
Pull the front adjuster strap (M) to tighten the
harness snugly over the child (fig. 37).
!!!Warning: During the journey periodically
check that the child has not managed to wriggle
out of the child seat.
How to free the child from the seat (Fig. 38- 39)
Press adjuster (J) underneath the seat and
simultaneously pull both the harness straps to
slacken them (fig. 38).
Press the red button on the buckle (I) to open it
(fig. 39).
Pull out harness straps and move them clear of
the child.
Maintenance (Fig. 40 - 46)
Take the covers off completely for washing.
To remove the cover:
Open the buckle (I) (fig. 40).
Pull out the harness straps from the back of the
child seat. Proceed as follows:
Open cover (D) on the rear of the backrest
(fig. 41).
Pull recline handle and simultaneously push
the child seat backwards so that it assumes
the fully upright position.
Press adjuster (J) and simultaneously pull
both harness straps (fig. 42).
Disengage the harness straps from the
metal yoke (C) at the rear of the child seat
backrest (fig. 43).
Unthread the metal fitting and the shoulder
pad strap (P) through the child seat
backrest (fig.44 + 45).
Remove the cover, carefully disengaging:
The harness straps and buckle tongues
through the side routing slots (fig. 46).
The metallic plate that holds the buckle
through the seat routing slot.
