8.1 Battery
Note:
If an insulating strip protrudes from the battery compartment, batteries are installed
already. Pull the strip out to establish the power supply.
8.2 Remote control operation
Important:
– The
button on the remote puts the product into standby mode.
– To completely switch the product off, disconnect it from the power supply.
Tip:
Experiment with different settings to get the best results.

9 Installation tips
Important:
– Do not fold the LED strip as this can damage the soldered joints.
– The adhesive tape should be positioned correctly on the first attempt as it cannot be
reused.
– Before mounting:
- Connect all parts and cut the strip to length before mounting.
- Make sure the power adaptor can reach the power socket.
– Prepare the surface for mounting. It should be clean, flat, smooth, dry, and non-por-
ous.
10 Cleaning and care
Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions.
They damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
1. Disconnect the product from the power supply.
2. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
