Smart Controller DMX PROLED
1. Introduction
The PROLED Smart DMX Controller is a compact LED colour change controller for
PROLED Flex Strips. It can be operated with a DMX lighting console as well as stand alone.
The device features 83 preprogrammed colour changing sequences with adjustable speed
and is capable of controlling up to 255 flex IC units (510 RGB LEDs).
2. Connection and Installation
First connect the PROLED Flex Strips to the five pin signal output, then connect the power
supply to the Power In input. Take special care not to cause any short circuits.
If the PROLED Smart DMX controller is connected to a DMX lighting control desk (DMX In /
DMX Out), all colour changing functions are controllable by the lighting console. The control
channel for a particular colour change corresponds to the DMX address, the speed channel
however corresponds to the DMX address +1. If the DMX address of a LED unit is for
example 1, the colour is controlled by DMX address 1 and the speed is controlled by DMX
address 2. The higher the DMX Channel value is (0 bis 255), the faster the colour changes
are executed.
