    Bedienungsanleitung Achtung! Diese Bedienungsanleitung gilt nicht für Geräte mit der Typenbezeichnung 421-30! Nachfolgende Funktionsbeschreibung und Programmier- anleitung gilt für Geräte, unabhängige Einzelgeräte betrieben werden. Wird das Gerät am TS-Bus betrieben, ist seine Funktion von der Programmierung der Buszentrale abhängig.

    Dieser Zustand des Geräts kann äußerlich selbstverständlich nicht erkannt werden und läßt sich auch nicht zurücksetzen ohne das Gerät zu öffnen. Die Anzahl der zulässigen Falscheingaben bis zur Sperrung der Tastatur ist abhängig von den jeweils programmierten Codes. Sie beträgt das doppelte des längsten im Gerät aktuell programmierten Codes plus eins.

    Programmierung Auch die Programmierung des Geräts wird auf sehr einfache Weise vorgenommen. Das Gerät wird mit dem Schlüssel geöffnet und durch kurze Betätigung der Programmiertaste in den Programmiermodus geschaltet. Dieser Zustand bleibt, wenn keine Taste betätigt wird, für 15 Sekunden aktiviert und stellt sich dann automatisch zurück.

    Sicherheitshinweise Das Türcodegerät 421-30-10 entspricht den einschlägigen europäischen Normen. Bei Einhaltung der üblichen Sicherheits- regeln für Elektrogeräte dieser Art ist ein störungsfreier und dauerhafter Betrieb gewährleistet. Einige dieser Regeln, die in diesem Zusammenhang besonders relevant sind, seien hier noch einmal aufgeführt.

    Montage Zur Gerätemontage Das Gerät wird üblicherweise mit vier Schrauben in der Nähe der zu sichernden Tür an der Wand befestigt.     Operating Instructions Attention! These operating instructions do not apply to door code unit 421-30! The following descriptions of the funktion and the programming instructions are only valid when the device is used in stand alone funktion. If it is used as a participant of the TS-bus, its funktions depend on the programming of the central bus controll unit.

    Function and Operation General Function The door code unit is used to restrict access to specific rooms to authorized persons. Unlocking of the door depends on a freely programmable numerical code consisting of up to six digits. When the programmed code number is entered via the keypad of the door code unit, the electric door release is unlocked for a selectable period and the door can be opened.

    Connection to Other Elements The door code unit controls an appropriate standard electric door release (12 V DC, maximum 250 mA current consumption). As the output contact of the door code unit is a potential-free changeover contact, other elements can be controlled as well. However, it is essential to observe the technical data indicated in the installation instructions (see page 41 and following).

    Operation and Indication Operation of the unit is simple and does not require any special in- struction of the users. The code can be entered directly. When the code is entered, the output contact is activated and the door can be opened.

    Programming Programming is also very simple. The unit is opened by means of the key and switched into the programming mode by brief operation of the programming button (on the main board on top left). The programming status can be recognized by the flashing green LED at the front.

    Programming the User Codes For special applications three additional user codes can be programmed. These codes cannot activate permanent unlocking and can be deleted at any moment by a simple operation. They must be given a special index, i.e. the number “1", “2" or “3", in order to be able to refer to each code individually when programming or deleting.
