Electrical Connection

Special Information

Before removing the intermediate cover the mains voltage
must be switched off.
Only screened cable may be used for all low voltage con-
nections. All screening has to be connected to the central
earth terminal inside the housing.
Only door releases which have been designed for operation
by 12 V DC may be used. They must have a current con-
sumption of less than 250 mA and be equipped with a spark
suppression diode.
The monitor contact of the door release or another contact
which is connected to this input may be normally closed or
normally open.
If other power consumers are connected, adequate proofing
measures must be taken ( e.g. spark suppression diode in
case of inductive power consumers). Please observe the
no-load output voltage!
Do not remove the rubber bushing when introducing the
cable into the housing, but cut it in cross-shapedly and in-
troduce the cable bluntly.
