Protect yourself!
When operating the machine,
wear eye, face and hand pro-
tection (cut-proof gloves).
Warning:
Strap will snap forward!
When cutting the strap, hold
the upper portion and stand
safely away from the strap.
Caution:
The lower strap will snap
forward.
Warning:
Strap could break!
Do not stand in line with the
strap while it is tensioned. The
strap could break!
Do not use water!
Do not use water or steam to
clean the machine.
Caution:
Only strap packed goods!
Do not put hands or other parts
of the body between the strap
and the package during the
strapping process.
Warning:
Use a hoist!
For packages over 25 kg,
always use a suitable hoist.

Use for the intended purpose
The machine SMA 30 is designed for strapping
packages, multi-unit packs or sensitive goods.
This machine processes plastic straps (polyprop-
ylene).
Possible misuse
The use of steel straps is not possible.
Warning:
Do not touch!
Heat sealing plate heats up to
325°C.
Warning:
Hazard!
Lay the power cable so that
there is no risk of tripping over
it.
Warning:
Protect against electric
shock!
Check plug and cable for dama-
ge before every use.
Caution:
Remove power plug!
Disconnect the power plug
before starting repairs or main-
tenance work or when opening
the control box.
Caution:
If the machine is operated in a
wet or moist environment, the
electrical outlet must include a
current operated earth leakage
circuit breaker (critical range:
>70% relative humidity).
Original Strapex spare parts
must be used exclusively!
Not using original spare parts
will dissolve the warranty and
the liability.
