Tips for Cooking Rice
Use the provided measuring cup when measuring rice and water. One full measuring cup of rice is approximately 160 g of rice.
The general rice-to-water ratio is 1 : 1.1 measuring cups. However, the amount of water may vary depending on the type of
rice. Follow the rice manufacturer's instructions.
The inner pot is also equipped with markings to determine the correct rice-to-water ratio. Add water to the marking
corresponding to the number of measuring cups of rice used. For example, if you add 1 cup of rice, add water up to the "1"
mark.
It is recommended to rinse the rice under cold running water until the water is clear.
In order for the rice to cook evenly, it needs to be evenly distributed over the bottom of the inner pot. Stir the rice before
closing the lid and make sure its level is even.
Steaming (STEAM programme)
Use the provided steamer for steaming.
Pour enough water into the inner pot so that the level is approximately 1 cm from the bottom of the steamer. There should be
a gap between the water level and the bottom of the steamer.
Insert the steamer into the pot, then place the food in the steamer and select the STEAM programme.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, disconnect the power plug from the mains socket and pull the power cord from the back of
the rice cooker. Allow it to cool completely.
WARNING:
Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. There is a risk of electrical injury.
Note:
Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners, benzene, solvents, alcohol, etc. for cleaning. Do not use wire brushes or any other
tools that could scratch the surface.
Inner Pot, Steamer, Measuring Cup and Spoon
Wash the inner pot, steamer measuring cup and spoon in warm water with a little dishwashing detergent. Rinse with clean
water and wipe dry.
If the bottom of the inner pot is scorched, pour warm water into the pot and add a small amount of dishwashing detergent.
Allow it to sit for a while, then wash.
Inner Lid
Press the lid open button to open the lid.
Remove the inner lid and remove the silicone seal from its outer edge, and remove the silicone seal around the inner oval
opening.
Wash the inner lid and silicone seal in warm water with a little dishwashing detergent. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
Place the silicone seal on the inner lid so that the longer edge faces the interior of the rice cooker.
