BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging and foils and store them for later use.
Press the lid open button to open the lid. Remove the inner pot, measuring cup and spoon.
Remove the inner lid and peel off the silicone seal.
Wash the inner pot, steamer, measuring cup, spoon, inner lid and silicone seal in warm water with a little
dishwashing detergent. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
Wipe the outer surface and the inside of the rice cooker with a soft sponge slightly dampened in warm water. Wipe
dry with a clean cloth.
Place the silicone seal on the inner lid so that the longer edge faces the inside of the rice cooker.

Fit the inner lid so that the sensor on the inside of the lid passes through the hole in the inner lid. Press gently until
the inner lid fits properly.

Place the rice cooker on a firm, flat and dry surface well away from the mains socket. Do not place it on a surface covered with
fabric (e.g. tablecloth) or on a heat-sensitive surface. Do not place it near heat-sensitive objects (e.g. curtains, drapes, etc.).
Ensure that there is sufficient clearance around the rice cooker for adequate air circulation.

Do not place the appliance near walls or other appliances. The minimum distance is 10 cm on all sides.
Hot steam may escape from the appliance when it is in operation. Make sure there are no objects sensitive to hot steam near
the appliance.

The inner pot is equipped with two markings. The right marking, "CUP", is for rice preparation and indicates the number of cups,
while the left marking, "0.5", indicates the water level when steaming, the water level when preparing porridge (only 0.5 scoops of
rice are inserted).
