• Lead the end of the hose to the drain.
• Alternatively, use a collecting vessel [Fig. 5].

• Loosen the plug by turning it in the direction of the
arrow, enough to ensure free rotation of the handle
[Fig. 6].

The plug may only be loosened during this phase,
never completely unscrewed!
• Turn the handle according to the imprinted marking
in the direction of the arrow until it stops [Fig. 7],
this is approx. four complete turns.
• The backwashing process has now started.

The discharge pipe or the collecting vessel must
be sufficiently dimensioned to be able to absorb
the discharge quantity!
Note: During the backwash process, the pressure
of the heating system must be kept constant. We
recommend the FüllCombi BA 6628 according to
DIN EN 1717 (see chapter 9 „Accessories", page 18).
• Turn the plug completely out with the magnetic
spindle [Fig. 8]. The metallic sediments are wiped off
and rinsed out during the
backwashing process.

The magnetic separator may only be cleaned
during backwashing!
• Turn the handle according to the imprinted marking
as far as it will go [Fig. 9],
this is approx. four complete turns.
• The backwashing process is completed.
